Roy from Audio Theatre Central goes rogue and leaves JD and Andrew to join me on Audio News for an episode review! In the spirit of the season, we’re reviewing “A Christmas Conundrum.” We discuss classic Odyssey chemistry, situational comedy, John Campbell’s festive score, and the meta-moral of the plot … interspersed with a fair bit of chuckling.

Evidently, we have a bona fide mystery.
REVIEW — “The Right Choice, Part 1”
As a breath of fresh air, Ryan and I head back to a more nostalgic era of AIO to review the next episode in the post-Blackgaard arc, “The Right Choice, Part 1.” Throughout our gleeful raving over the episode, we discuss “who started it,” if jet lag is a poor excuse, consequences for immaturity, Brandon’s character arc, and parallels between this episode and both of our love lives. It’s the longest and deepest review we’ve done so far.

REVIEW — “Connie the Counselor” (ft. Andrew Acebo)

REVIEW — “Harley Takes the Case, Parts 1 and 2”
Finally released five months after its recording! During an “interim” period back in June 2020, Ryan and I sat down to review “Harley Takes the Case, Parts 1 and 2.” In this review, we discuss Harley’s character development, how this episode compares to “Missing Person,” what the moral actually is, and how all the early AIO kid characters sound like toddlers. And we also finally read your comments!
REVIEW — “B-TV: Trinity” (AIOWiki Podcast)
On what would have been an edition of the AIOWiki Podcast, Ryan Matlock joins Lee and Arista to review “B-TV: Trinity” (edited by Scott Beall). Differing opinions fly on the characters, the B-TV format, and Sam Suksiri’s theology. Join us as AIO Audio News presents the Backlog of the AIOWiki Podcast!
